Export your list on your computer. Open Pulse. Upload. Done. If you want to work from your phone, we'll show you how to move the CSV over in one minute.
Most lead sources are desktop-first. County record lookups and lead tools are built for a browser on a computer. You can't easily export from them on a phone — that's a limitation of those tools, not of Pulse.
So the typical flow is: Export CSV on your computer → upload to Pulse on your computer → then use the phone app for everything after (texting, replies, pipeline).
Pulse does NOT pull leads directly from any third-party tool. You always export the CSV yourself first. That keeps your list portable and 100% yours.
If you really want to upload from your phone, you need to move the CSV to your phone first — AirDrop, email, Google Drive, or iCloud. Step 2 below walks through each option.
It's a regular website file upload. Same as attaching a resume to a job application or a photo to Facebook.
No local network, no IP address, no devices syncing over wifi. Pulse is just a normal website — it works over any internet connection.
The CSV is parsed in your browser before any data is sent to Pulse, so imports are instant and private.
Same website, every device. Whatever browser or device you're on, the steps are identical.
Read through once. Then record once. You'll have your tutorial video in a single take.
Most lead sources are desktop-first tools — you pull the list on your laptop or desktop. Log in, filter to the leads you want, and click Export → CSV. The file lands in your Downloads folder.
"Open your lead source on your computer. Filter down to the leads you want. Click Export, pick CSV, and save it to Downloads. Most lead tools only work from a desktop browser, so don't fight it — just do this part on your laptop."
Pulse works identically on desktop and mobile. The easiest path is to just stay on your computer and upload from there — no file transfer needed. But if you prefer to work from your phone, you need to get the CSV onto the phone first.
"Here's the choice. If you're already on your computer where the CSV lives, easiest thing to do is just go to the Pulse website right there on your desktop browser and upload. No transfer step, no extra work. But if you want to manage everything from your phone, you've got three quick ways to move the CSV over."
3 ways to move a CSV to your phone
Right-click the CSV in Finder → Share → AirDrop → pick your phone. CSV appears in iPhone Files app → Downloads. Fastest way.
Attach the CSV to an email to yourself. On your phone, open the email, tap the attachment, tap Share → Save to Files → On My iPhone → Downloads. Works on any device.
Drag the CSV into Drive (or iCloud) on your computer. On your phone, open the Drive/Files app, find the CSV, tap the three dots → Download / Save to Files.
Go to your Pulse website in any browser — Safari, Chrome, Edge, whatever. On your phone, you can use the mobile browser OR the Pulse app if you have it installed (the app wraps the same website). Log in with your email and password.
"Now open Pulse. If you're on desktop, just go to the website in any browser. If you're on your phone, either open the mobile app or the website — both work identically. Log in."
Click (or tap) the Leads tab. You'll see an "Import List" button. Click it. A window pops open asking you to tag your list type.
"Go to the Leads tab. Hit Import List. A little window pops up."
Every list has to be tagged: Wholesale / Cash Offer, Pre-Foreclosure, Probate, Low Equity, Foreclosure / REO, or Agent Listed. This isn't cosmetic — the AI uses this to decide tone, questions, and which deal structures to route to. Click Continue.
"Pick the category that matches your list. Pre-foreclosure, probate, cash-offer, whatever fits. This tells the AI how to talk to them. Probate gets pain-first discovery. Pre-foreclosure gets a cash-forward approach. Click Continue."
Click Choose File. Your device's file picker opens — on desktop, that's Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows), both pointing to Downloads by default. On phone, it's the Files app. Pick the CSV. It loads instantly — the file is read directly in the browser, not uploaded to any server.
"Click Choose File. Your computer's file picker opens to Downloads. Your CSV is right there — pick it. Loads in less than a second because the file is parsed right here in the browser, not uploaded to a cloud first."
Pulse auto-matches your column headers. "first_name" maps to First Name, "mobile" maps to Phone, and so on. Glance at the preview table at the bottom to confirm. If one is off, click the dropdown and fix it. Phone and First Name are the only required fields. Click Import Leads. Done — your campaign is ready to launch.
"Pulse auto-detects your columns — first name, phone, address. Glance at the preview to confirm it looks right. Fix anything off with the dropdowns. Click Import Leads. Done. If you're on the Pro plan, the AI has already written your opener message. You just review and hit send."
Free tools. No editing software needed. ~10 minutes total.
Log in, tap Import, pick your CSV. Pulse does the rest.
